School buildings and facilities which set the benchmark for excellence in private education are the backbone of Inspired Education Group. AIS has been working closely with the group to ensure its spaces allow pupils to achieve their maximum potential and help them grow into well-rounded individuals, all while causing minimal disruption to the school calendar.
The relationship began by refreshing the interiors of 35 classrooms across four schools in central London. Working to a tight timeframe across the Easter holidays, the detailed plans on the Pembridge and Wetherby campuses included repairing joinery, redecorating, and replacing lighting and flooring. Crucially, it served as a springboard for the relationship between Inspired Education and AIS, thanks to the innovative approach and open communication between the teams.
Applying learnings from the initial project, AIS then tackled comprehensive upgrades across a further nine schools during the summer break. Following due diligence surveys to streamline the process, this included installing 40 bespoke, interactive Teacher’s Walls with the support of joinery specialists Joyce & Reddington, redecorating, replacing flooring and lighting and managing furniture installation.
Two more central London schools followed during the Christmas holidays in 2025 with AIS taking the lead on project management as well as design and delivery at both St Anthony’s School for Boys in Hampstead and Parsons Green Prep.
The extensive project at Parsons Green involved creating a new lobby complete with fire compliant door sets and new flooring, relocating the school office, bathroom alterations, upgrading stairwells and installing new emergency lighting and signage. Extensive demolition work also took place across the 2nd floor to create a new classroom and WC.
At St Anthony’s three classrooms were completely redecorated including new herringbone LVT flooring being laid. The WC was completely stripped out and reconfigured and the hallway updated.
“Throughout our partnership, AIS has consistently demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to delivering, especially with very important programme commitments. The AIS team stands out for their excellent communication and personable approach, ensuring smooth coordination at every stage. Their experienced team give everyone involved with the school the confidence that we will deliver the project safely. Most importantly, AIS has always delivered against very challenging programme’s and maintained an exemplary relationship with our business, this is reflected in our decision to use them across our schools in the UK. A defining strength of AIS is their proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude. They go above and beyond to support our objectives, often taking extra measures to help us open schools on time and within budget.” Jon Meeks, Global Head of Procurement, at Inspired Education.
Another project with Inspired Education at Drake House, a boarding accommodation building within the prestigious Reddam School in Wokingham, involved the refurbishment of the existing boarding facilities to deliver a high-quality, modern accommodation environment.
The works included transforming the current rooms and communal shower facilities into individual bedrooms with dedicated en-suite bathrooms, providing enhanced privacy and a significantly improved living environment for students.
In addition to the bedroom refurbishments, the communal areas have been carefully designed as flexible, multi-purpose spaces that encourage collaboration and social interaction.
The project has been meticulously planned to allow the school to remain fully operational throughout the works. The accommodation layout and phasing strategy have been carefully considered to maximise the use of existing rooms while each phase of the refurbishment is carried out.
