Dixon House

A high-impact, budget-friendly redesign at Dixon House, transforming the space into a vibrant, collaborative environment. By upgrading key areas and repurposing furniture, we achieved a sustainable solution that quickly attracted new tenants.

Client challenges

An outdated hot-desking layout that no longer met the needs of modern workstyles.

A need for high-impact improvements within a tight budget.

All enhancements had to be achieved without altering the existing infrastructure.

Transformational impact

A collaborative redesign transformed the space from a hot-desking setup to a more dynamic, engaging environment.

Cost-effective upgrades were made by repurposing existing materials, ensuring significant improvements within budget constraints.

The project adhered to ESG principles, minimising waste and promoting sustainability.

Creating a welcoming space with flexible design

The Dixon House redesign breathed new life into a workspace that had outgrown its hot-desking origins. AIS transformed the layout into a vibrant, collaborative environment that meets modern demands, all while staying within budget. Highlights included refreshing tea points and revamping the reception area to create a more inviting and functional space. In the lift lobby, removing security gates dramatically enhanced the first impression, offering a sleek, open feel while keeping future flexibility in mind.

Maximising impact with sustainable reuse

AIS focused on sustainability by reimagining, not replacing, existing furniture. Tables, booths, and boardroom pieces were skilfully wrapped to remove outdated branding, giving them a fresh, modern look. The addition of plants and soft furnishings brought comfort and style, creating a warmer, more collaborative atmosphere. This “reuse and uplift” approach not only transformed the space but also kept the project on budget, delivering high impact with minimal waste.
