Aerospace Manufacturing Client

After a major merger, our client needed a larger, fully branded workspace in Birmingham. In just 10 weeks, AIS delivered a dynamic, light-filled environment that supports diverse work styles and enhances business operations—all with minimal disruption.

Client challenges

A recent acquisition meant that a bigger space was needed to accommodate and represent the enlarged business.

The project should cause minimal disruption to the business’ day-to-day.

Design and construction had to be expedited during an incredibly tight window of time (roughly 10 weeks).

Transformational impact

Accelerated 3-week design phase using Unreal Engine for faster decision-making and accurate costing.

Delivered a fully branded space optimising natural light with views of Birmingham.

Created versatile spaces supporting individual work, collaboration, well-being, and client entertainment.

Rapid Design Development

Our interior designers collaborated closely with in-house visualisers to quickly bring the concept to life. Leveraging video game technology, we created a 3D walkthrough that made the design more tangible. This enhanced visibility allowed the client to make quicker, well-informed decisions, often remotely, and see the immediate impact of those choices. The design, completed in just three weeks, was more precise, cost-effective, and tailored to the client’s needs.

Sustainable and Local Sourcing

We prioritised sustainability by carefully selecting eco-friendly products, materials, and finishes, which helped reduce the project’s overall carbon footprint. Additionally, we sourced MEPH (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection), flooring contractors, and site management locally from the Birmingham area, further supporting the local economy and minimising environmental impact.
