Arcadis Milan relocated to the ‘Bicocca’ area, formerly known as the site of Italian industrialisation in the early 20th century. Taking inspiration from the area and the city’s historic architecture and design culture, AIS used this opportunity to create a workspace rooted in both local culture and global brand identity. The design was influenced by 1960s–80s Milanese styles and featured custom finishes to reflect the city’s heritage. The space includes eight meeting rooms, collaboration zones, phone booths, and a wellness room, optimising productivity and wellbeing in an open-plan layout.
