Choosing to occupy the historic grade II listed Sion Hall Building situated on the banks of London's River Thames, our brief was to create a flexible and comfortable satellite office for, travelling employees visiting London from the companies various locations across the world.
The new workplace needed to be modern and highly functional to support the needs of travelling executives. Strict planning legislation meant we were unable to make complex structural changes to the building. Through intelligent space planning we allocated a purpose to each existing area, carefully considering the adjacency of each space to ensure flow and function were optimised across each of the three floors.
A number of wellbeing spaces were incorporated including a fitness room, cinema and games room to help rejuvenate travelling employees allowing them to perform at their best while away from home. A variety of meeting rooms are scattered through the space catering for teams of two through to twenty.
The space has been transformed from its once traditional state to a modern, energised and warm environment to help travelling staff continue with their working needs. Quiet spaces allow staff to re-charge, while working spaces are well equip to make staff feel like the space is a home away from home.
