Modernising an iconic skyscraper

88 Wood St

150,000 sq ft
32 weeks

Our latest CAT A project, a 150,000 sq ft fit out in the iconic London skyscraper 88 Wood St is a contemporary conversion of the original building design, giving it a modern feel, with high quality detailing.

The complexity of delivering such high level finishes to this scale is no small feat, but our approach is second to none, fusing our commercial knowledge with our experienced delivery team.

Phase one has seen the full strip back to shell and core of the tenth and eleventh floors, encompassing new mechanical and electrical services with a vibrant “SAS mesh raft” ceiling detail that beautifully frames the new semi-exposed services. Also included was the full refurbishment of the WC’s on five floors, with high specification stainless steel cubicles, terrazzo worktops, brushed stainless steel hardware and stylish feature lighting which come together to create a sophisticated finish.

Future CAT B works to the reception area will further modernise the building and include a full height 3 meter living wall, bespoke joinery and new full height glazing. The finished reception area will include a more flexible style co-working area, as well as a full barista style cafe offering and enhanced welfare facilities including cycle racks, showers and lockers. These works are currently being carried out whilst maintaining a fully operational reception. Full works are due for completion in February 2021.
