Design & Space Planning
This project, implemented by the landlord sought to re-invigorate the buildings tired reception space and create a ‘plug and play’ space ready for immediate use and attractive to prospective tenants from any sector.
The reception and common area refurbishments included new lighting, decorations, the introduction of feature timber panelling to bring warmth to the space and comfortable modern seating, as well as the refreshment of the ground floor WC’s and lift lobbies. Main office entrance doors were sprayed matt black and fitted with brass ironmongery, these simple touches coming together to create a completely new and modern feel to the space. Works also included the design and build of new bike storage in a secure compound within the loading bay making the building further more attractive to potential new tenants.
Elsewhere we completed a new CAT A fit out to the 7th floor space, incorporating a greater ceiling margin detail to the external perimeter further enhancing external views, as well as inserting a new suspended metal ceiling and raised floor, allowing for a future occupier to move in straight away without needing to do any fit out works to make the space good.
Works to the ground floor included the creation of dynamic but flexible work space that can be easily amended to suit the needs of any client, but also fully operational and ready for a client to move in as is. We created meeting room space with re-configurable furniture that could be used as either meeting and board room spaces, or even set up as private offices depending on the needs of the final occupier. The space is finished with a contemporary but refined palette of finishes, including timber flooring to add warmth and a light scheme to the tea point areas keeps the scheme fresh but neutral, allowing prospective tenants from any sector the ability to quickly personalise the space or simply move in as is.
