AIS are now leading the way in workplace design and build safety. The new ISO 45001:2018 certificate provides effective and usable guidance for improving worker safety and sets a process for improving work safety in global supply chains. This new International Standard is expected to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses around the world.
The ISO 45001:2018 certification was released to replace the Occupational Health and Safety Standard 18001:2017. While there is a 3 year migration period for organisations to make the relevant changes in order to gain the new certificate, AIS made the transition within 9 short months of it being released. Guidance provided from the certification will assist us in proactively improving our OH&S performance to deliver exceptional office design and build projects safely at all levels.
“Moving to ISO 45001:2018 is a great achievement for the AIS team, and one that puts us at the forefront of workplace design both in London and internationally. We consider health and safety to be at the core of our all our business activity and we recognise that without achieving excellence in health and safety performance we cannot hope to achieve our commercial goals.” Gerry Graville, AIS Group Managing Director.
